Changing Course: Making a Successful Career Transition

Paula had been working in her job for more than five years when she realized she had to re-route her career plans. She had a strong academic background, an excellent track record and was told she was not on track to become a partner in her law firm. The news rattled her confidence and also fueled her motivation to seek out alternatives. So she attended a Life's Path Discovery Weekend Workshop. During a guided mindfulness exercise, she envisioned a job that would allow more creativity and interaction with the public.
